Years ago one of my wife's friends was suddenly arrested for fraud. We were stunned.
Turns out someone has stolen her information, and multiple woman were using it to marry illegal aliens - Mexicans - which made them American citizens. In the mean time, they opened up bank accounts and all kinds of stuff.
Amazing what they can do with a little info.
