Take the trash collector position. Here in Vegas Republic Services pays good $$ for their employees and people line up to do it. By your reasoning since illegal immigrants are not hired to do this job and it's beneath Brad and Suzie our trash would be sitting on the sidewalk and stinking up all of Vegas. But surprise surprise, they pay a good wage and its picked up like clock work twice a week.
