I have lived in Scottsdale since 1998, it is affluent but certainly not racist. There are ghetto parts, there are rich parts, there are normal parts but I've never seen one part I'd consider racist. Hell down the street from me in South Scottsdale there's a carneceria (or whatever they're called) and there are a LOT of mexican people in the area.
