You ever been to one? It's a lot of fun if you approach it right.
To me it's a chance to hang out with a crowd of like-minded people that I can actually talk about my work in an intelligent way. That alone is priceless to me.
And at every show, usually late at night at a party...I'll run into a money making situation.
I stopped going to shows back in 2002. I just didn't have any reason to go since I was pushing so much traffic for years and didn't need to go. But in 2007 I opened Claudia-Marie.Com and started going to the shows again.
Matter of fact the Summer Xbiz in Vegas in 2007 was my first show I had attended since 2002.
Doing some quick calculations...all of the shows I've attended in this last 3 years have resulted in deals that have profited me a little over 2 million dollars.
That is money I wouldn't have if I hadn't been at those shows and met, talked to, and set up deals in person.
If that's "so 2004" then put me in the hot tub time machine!
