Music that brings childhood memories? (VID)
It was not that easy to get US or British pop music around here in the 80's (although I sure remember black market offering Queen, Madonna, Flashdance OST to name a few)
The radio was full of local production (that actually consisted of 90 pct. of covers of western hits with total non sense text in local language - extremely bizzar !!) BUT what was quite allowed on the radio was Italian production and German production (mainly Dieter Bohlen related works such as Chris Norman, Bonnie Tyler, Modern Talking).
So I have a lot of nostalgia for Italian pop (although seriously, some of that was very scary - like Al Bano and Romina Power, Ricchi i Poveri, Toto Cutugno..) but still I do enjoy greatly for example Gianna Nannini.
Gianna had and still has the strongest, most explosive voice in the history of pop music, she was a rebel, a phenomenon, a storm on the stage, unconventional, beautiful in her own way.

And this is like major 80's romance - I even got me the same car in the same color as featured in the clip (although not a cabrio).
