I have had many different types of memberships sites over the years, and I have never even gotten up to a half a percent in charge backs.
How often they occur depends on the site, and what you provide. If you market, and deliver, what is promised then you should have no issues realistically. Most people I have heard have issues with CB are those who have 1998 versions of pay site or promise something they can't deliver, or they bang a customers card.
