Actually Pipecrew this season boosted ratings tremendously.
I applaud Mark Burnett for Jeff's tour through New York City. He had the time and money to make a statement, and he made it on a show that people all over the world but especially here in the States are watching... "Look, our Statue of Liberty still stands, we're not afraid to go in the subways of New York City, we're not afraid to walk through the streets of New York City - the terrorists FAILED. We're still here and we're unafraid."
Damn straight. Two thumbs up, Mark.
I wish Matt had gotten it - I don't think Jenna deserved it whatsoever. The machete sharpening thing was overplayed - Matt is a detailed guy who does what needs to be done and he said a few times during the show that without the machetes they can't live. It's important to keep it sharp and care for it - since it's one of the most important things of your survival, he did that.
Heidi? Puhlease. Even with all the makeup on she wasn't all that - she looked like a Q-Tip with trowels of makeup and silicone tits. Jeff brought up a good point there too, during the season she made a LOT of decisions that directly conflicted with the message she should be giving to the kids she teaches - fuck her and her vanity. She's a stuck-up, vain little bitch and the whole world knows it now.
