I took the machete sharpening thing to be a joke mostly, that's why I mentioned it. But it always strikes me as funny that the survivor contestants always bitch and whine at each other's deceipt/playing/lying.... yet it's a fucking game. A GAME people! Playing and lying is part of it. You can't win without alliances, and in order to play the alliance game you invariably HAVE to stab your buddy in the back at some point. It's a given. Why they get all stupid and serious about it is beyond me.

Good point about the NYC thing. Hadn't really thought of it in those terms.

I did like the scene where Christie (the deaf chick) described Jenna and Heidi as her evil step-sisters.
