The media absolutely loves to overstate how much drugs are worth... There was a drug bust here a while back, and they were talking about how they supposedly seized 1 million worth of weed, but the actual value was something more realistic like $105,000, lol.
They are only human, though, and understand that in order to move product and make money, they need big captivating headlines. Because who cares about a hundred grand worth of weed, right? If its big money, people are gonna eat that shit up big time.
God we are such a stupid and over dramatic species sometimes (all the time).
