No worries, it was more of a rhetorical question and a not so veiled shot at Montreal Canadians fans for their less than admirable behavior every time even a preliminary series is won much less the cup itself. Had the Habs won Lord Stanley they'd have turned St Catherines street into a smoking hole I'm sure. Meanwhile other cities like Chicago seem to have some class about them.
Anyway, regarding last night, I must say the final goal was insane. Mullet boy Kane just slid it in there somehow and no one but him seemed to know the game was over and they'd won the cup. Great watching it on the replay, him screaming down the ice ripping off his equipment like a lunatic, then the shot of the club owners pointing and not even knowing if the puck was in. lol
Then all the Flyers players standing around with their mouths open in disbelief.
The ref over at the officials box looking befuddled and dumbfounded.
Then the confirmation via net cam and the celebration begins... with 20,000 SILENT fans.
God bless hockey.
