low carb diets work because people simply dont eat the amount calories they would on a normal diet, they eat 5-6 times a day and have a huge portion of some meats and they maybe only tipped 1300 calories for the day.

this is exactly my experience and conclusion. low-carb diets work because they simply cut overall calories. but what a cost eh.
