But they
are incompetent. If they are not equipped properly to do the job of guarding the border, then by definition that makes the Border Patrol Agency incompetent. I never suggested the guy had to buy his own gear. But you
did say it was a "war" down there, and last time I checked, no one goes to war in a leisure suit.
If we sent our soldiers to Afghanistan in a nice brown sport jacket, would you
not deem them incompetent for the job at hand?
