Twitter, Social Media and the underage content problem

With the creation of user-powered social media websites such as Twitter and Facebook it's very easy for underage pornographic content to appear.

Running a Twitter or Facebook account that relies on user submitted amateur erotica seems to walk a legal thin line. From my understanding, simply possessing underage sexual content on a phone, email or hard drive is a felony in the United States. I imagine it appearing on a Facebook "wall" or message would be as well. How does the owner of a social media account that relies on user submissions prevent underage content from being submitted?
