They wanted to vote for "the best"; and not vote out of blind loyalty for a political party.

McCain single handedly fucked his campaign by picking the worst republican female in
the entire bunch. McCain could have pick one of his female campaign managers and
done way better. Don't forget that Gov. Palin resigned and left her state hanging.
Palin is nothing more than pure "self interest". She proved it by abandoning her state.
