Yeah it would take multiple for sure. Dogs work well together and in the wild are always found in packs. That's why bears are naturally afraid of dogs.
Once my male and one of the females got out the back gate in Costa Rica when my gardener didn't close the gate properly. I got a frantic call from the neighbor screaming about her goat. Sure enough I go out back and the two dogs have this goat trapped in between them. One distracts from the front and the other sneaks around the back. Naturally I called them back right away and put an end to it so no damage was done, but it was quite a site. I was actually worried that the goat my gore one of them it had nasty looking horns.
