When a single bad call or acting job is more important to the final score than skill its a real issue. They tried making the ball more squirrelly to increase scoring but it didn't help. The goalies need to go to make it halfway interesting. I was watching the Honduras-Spain match at the gym today. A player was making his way toward the goal, and for some reason the net was wide open(the goalie was not even near the net). The guy has a wide open shot, he kicks, and boom some guy slides in at the last second at 60 mph and knocks it away, basically saving his team from being scored on.
Take away the goalies and it'll be a constant shootout.
