Yes, the federal law always overrides state, and that's what we saw with Bush. The DEA did their best to shut down marijuana in California... dispensary raids, burning fields, throwing users/patients in jail, etc.... and it didn't work. At least we have a president in office now that put a leash on the DEA.
California is Marijuana Nation. Supplier to I think over half of the US. The "war" has been over for quite some time.
