Hell yeah! It has it's disadvantages for example when copying large amount of data and the connection brake it may be necessary to start again but for small amounts of data like a few megs it's very convenient. For huge data amounts like a few gigs it's better to use filezilla as it's able to start from the moment when it's stopped.
