Yes taxing junk food is good idea, I agree, but why 35$ for burger, 10, 20 cents per burger and that enough. No need to exaggerate. Plus keep in mind that food (junk or not) is still vital for every person while cigarretes is just poison. So while they both fall in same taxable category they are still a bit different (meaning taxing smokes should be harder than taxing food). But like I said its good idea, and I do not argue.

Its been proven that passive smoking is even more harmful than active. So yes I bitch if you smoke near me. And not only because its unhealthy but also because it stinks, its simply uncomfortable for non smoker to be near smoker.
Speaking of LA air. Well air is air - if you are in LA you can't ask someone to clear the air, but at least you can ask someone to move the cig. Meaning smelling only bad air is still better than smelling both bad air plus ciggarette on top of that.
