Why is it a baseless assertion? Your record here speaks clearly enough. You attack the current administration every chance you get. You attack those with opposing views. And now you're suggesting that it's okay for a military General to publicly go against the policies of the Commander In Chief by laying down comments like, because Obama got "butthurt". How exactly am I misinterpreting your position? Your position is very clear. I hardly think that's baseless. In fact, it's got quite a stable base.
