Damn, got a family member on his 2nd tour over there with the Aussie forces, and he said the Americans are having a real hard time. I don't see how changing the General who obviously knows what is happening on the ground will help. If the General is speaking the truth then suck it up and deal with it.. if he is telling porkies then sure bring him home and fire him.
If you only want to hear yes sir its all unicorn rides and lollypops then put in some 'yes' man into the position.
