If they're a legal American citizen, whether it's through birthright or Green Card, that constitutes American to me. Especially if they're working for the Federal government.
I'm kind of surprised too actually. We've got plenty of rednecks... I think they just aren't well funded enough. But that guy that went was useless as tits on a boar.
