I'm not backpeddling on anything. Nobody EVER needed bit torrents in all of history to have copies of something. Sure it's a nice CONVENIENT thing for people with broadband internet (most folks) to use for some things.
But as far as what you are claiming you do...save your favorite television shows...there are FAR more convenient ways to do that. Ever heard of TIVO or a DVR?

We aren't trying to take away anything. You CAN make copies of any goddamn thing you want for YOURSELF. But when you make copies in a public place that is covered in pre-paid advertising spots that generate income from the presence of the content itself...that is WRONG.
