Well if people had the foresight to see a bad thing coming and prepare by saving for a rainy day rather than buying a big house, a boat, a atv, and a bike, we wouldnt have this problem. Now the responsible folks who did save, get to pay for it.
Again, rewarding stupidity and mediocrity. Perhpas if they do throw them out of the house and force them into something a little more realistic, say and apartment or a smaller home, they would actually learn a lesson rather than get "bailed out."
