10 years ago there were so many people who believed all it took was putting up a domain, loading it with free porn and the sign ups would come. Today they realize that 10 years of free content means there's now so much free it's often pointless to pay for porn.
Have paysites changed? No they now give away free hosted clips to Tubes sites to get what little is left.
This industry has always believed in Traffic over everything else and the way to get traffic was to give content away for free.
