man that made me laugh. As if governments (i.e. politicians) want everyone to be healthy, mentally alert and able to think more clearly.

They want you and I to be "dumbed down" to the last degree so we can NEVER question their authority, and can never remove them from power and control of us.

Sorry but that's about as naive a statement as I've read on GFY for many a year.
