Do you really think the GOP will stall this forever? doubt it. The democrats are using these extensions to cover up that there are no jobs. Remember that all this shit storm happened after 2006 with the democrats took control of the house and senate. And the unemployment rate has climbed since Obamanation took office and stayed there, while he claimed victory for job gains, when everyone knows they are all government jobs.
And it doesn't matter why, the only things voters are going to see is the results and they're not looking good.
Go ahead, keep blaming the GOP, they're not in charge.

Yes I DO believe that the GOP would stall this forever if they felt it to be politically helpful to themselves to do it! Absolutely I do! Thats my whole point. They do this for themselves, and come up with stupid bullshit excuses. They WANT unemployed people to get angry with the government, so that they will get voted into that very government. That is the "strategy" of voting as a group of "R" to defeat the extension of benefits. They know their base

They know this will be easy to sell to them.
Democrats may be "in charge" as you put it, but it takes 60 votes and right now the minority are sticking together to defeat benefits for the unemployed. Congrats.
