I bake bacon in the oven. Usually do a pound or so at a time because it will keep in the fridge for a while. I put a rack on a cookie sheet and lay the strips of bacon on the rack (allows the grease to drip down). Put it in a cold oven, turn to oven to 400 F, check it in 15 minutes. If it's not done to your liking, leave it in a bit longer.
Can also do it without the rack.. then when done remove it to paper towels to drain.
