considering the outrage against the pirate bay conviction got them 7% with no political push, no party credibility (it didn't exist as a party)

given the 60 trillion a year in technological enhancement that is being held back because we don't have the fair use of access shifting i totally agree with a statement like this.
Especially when you consider that the copyright holders can get exactly the control they want by embracing the technology.
