Been sending love and DVD's to the Marines for years with the help of a few studios and a cam company that set up some special shows just for the GI's. They really appreciate babywipes and good socks as well.
For those of you who travel a lot, those hotel shampoos, soaps, etc. are also a great commodity for the troops. You can collect a nice batch from just a short trip and the maids will also give you some extras each day if you leave em a couple bucks.
Kudos to you Loryn! I don't support war, but I do appreciate these men and women who are putting their lives on the line everyday.
p.s. even sending stuff to a few individuals on base here in the US, they take a lot of the stuff and share them with their troop, the infantry men really appreciate it and its good for morale.
