All inter EU packages seem to go through Germany for some reason, but yeah that's slow. I'm getting stuff from Asia to Hungary quicker than that.
I think it also depends on what level of service you use. The cheaper DHL/UPS ones can be crap, but then I had a package last week that I paid for the fastest delivery. Ordered at 11pm Monday night from the UK, had it in my hands Wednesday morning in Hungary... couldn't believe anything could be shipped and delivered that quick.
