I think there's a Tom Cruise backlash still going on, whether or not some critics would like to admit it. Even though he seems like a tool recently, I love the Cruise. There's only one Tom Cruise, and he generally makes any movie better. You can't say that about Nic Cage -- actually you could say the opposite.
Try to picture the Mission Impossible movies with Brad Pitt. It would suck ass.
