Score one for Jesse Jackson for accuracy.

Jesse Jackson is an attention whore.
Perhaps the letter was in reference to a team doing everything their superstar requested:
*Hiring his friend at 6 figures to hang out with the team so the star would feel comfortable.
*Letting the stars entourage travel on the team plane for road games.
*Only making trades/signings that the star approves of.
*Completely fucking over the teams cap space and future so they could surround the star with players (again, that he requested) to win now.
Then the star knew that he would be joining his friends on another team (Bosh admitted during the rally that they had agreed to this plan months ago) but dragged out an ego filled dog and pony show instead. Then he makes his decision on national TV (but doesnt tell his hometown team first) a full week after the free agent period begins, thus screwing his former team out of any chance of rebuilding through free agency (Jame's leaving provided them with $13 mil in cap space that could of been used to sign a marquee free agent on 7/1).
Oh and instead of just announcing it in a press release or via Twitter he goes on National TV and sticks a knife in the back of an already depressed city, (the same fans that revered him for 7+ years) all so he could fulfill his own ego. Then he proceeds to talk about himself in the third person.
And to bring racism into this is absurd. It's about a superstar athlete screwing over his hometown team. I dont think there is any doubt that if the star in question was white Dan Gilbert would of written the same letter. But of course if that scenario did happen I think we can all agree that Jesse Jackson wouldnt say shit.
