I've drilled in the tarsands for North American Oil Sands Corporation in the Leismer field. What they show is pretty extreme, but that can be expected. I personally think is fair game. There is no doubt about it that money is first priority, and the quickest route to punching holes is all that is worried about. I've personally shoveled sawdust and dirt over spills. That's a standard procedure. Cover it up. Never anything massive, but it still applies. Dig hole, push it in, cover it up. I've never been around that sort of operation, but it's no secret that they don't give a fuck as long as it funnels the cash in.
