If the industry ever stops having fresh affiliates entering, then that's a problem. Affiliates will drop out and move on to other things... they have to be replaced with new people. So one thing we try to do is bring in some new blood with Internet skills, and put them in contact with sponsors of the show.
So yup, there will ALWAYS be people who need to learn the basics.
