rental properties since 1998...
recently sold (2010) one for $275k that I purchased in 1998 for $80k.
Was rental out all but 2.5 months in all that time..
Problem is in the UK they all these new "HIPS" laws that require things like getting a "Energy Perfomance Certificate" etc. Just more red tape to jump through.
