I know you're extremely old school and respected and all, but that is a pathetic stance to take. None of what they stole was user submitted.

Well, I guess that in some small way makes us equal because I see your "fuck all I don't care how I make my money" pathetic.
Piracy was here long before net days for us. We are no strangers to it. In this case we are able to turn a negative into a positive and profit from it in a mutually agreeable fashion, and in a way that was never possible when Times Square pirates would take every release and ruin sales in the Northeast for everyone.
What is pathetic about that?
Now I don't know who posted our stuff without persmission and the fact that I don't care is not necessarily pathetic either. It is more pragmatic than anything else. We were able to get what we wanted accomplished partly because we took that approach, the professional and pragmatic, rather than the "fuck you" approach, which again, is what I find pathetic about the way most people deal with the issue... not saying you specifically necessarily because I don't even know what you do or don't do to tell you the truth.
