And here's another given: Cops are not going to stop doing whatever the fuck they want to do, every single day of the week,
as it suits them. Was there really a reason to even respond to this call? The Oakland police no longer respond to embezzlement, larceny, burglary, grand theft, and a whole list of other shit. But they'll respond to a call about a dude walking with a knife? In Oakland??
