I'd make your banner before more eye catching. Lots of shit going on with that page, make yourself stand out more. I saw that banner because I was looking for a link but as a consumer I may have missed it.

Not that you need any advice but I would use colors that are drastically different than the site it is on to really make it pop, along with different movement to grab an eye. Right now it doesn't stand out.
