There are different kinds of 3D anaglyph (red/cyan or red/green or red/blue and a few other color combos) You need the right color combos to go with the glasses and photos.

Another is polarization which is generally the kind you get at movies theatres now adays. There are horizontal/verticle polarization which require horizontal/vertical polarized images as well as circular. Each requiring the right images and glasses.

Lastly are shutter 3d from the new 3d tvs. They require their own specific type of glasses for each brand for the most part.

NONE OF THIS IS COMPATIBLE EXCEPT WITH ITS OWN KIND OF TECHNOLOGY! You need the exact glasses that go with the media you are watching or it will do nothing.
