actually i think you live in awful places and should consider moving. and you have a wrong picture about what the police job is too. "to serve and protect" - does this tell you anything?
i never had any problems with police - oh wait, i once almost got "arrested" for playing with fireworks when i was 11 and those fuckers told my parents although they promised not to.
and one more: if i go outside i see police about every 10 minutes and it actually makes me feel safe - which is the purpose, i think.
and about being stupid... we better not go there. i'm sure you are waaaaay smarter than me and i give up and surrender to your overwhelming intelligence.
