I just went cold turkey, as I am impatient, and don't have a lot of success w/ trying to gradually give things up. It sucked for 3 days or so, then went away. For me, it wasn't a thing like stopping smoking where the urge to smoke still periodically hits me after years of quitting. It was just those first few days, then the desire was gone, both mentally and physically.
This is good news this will be right up their with quieting smoking as the hardest thing I have do.
