The car has over 300HP so being able to drive with it at 10 liters per 100km sounds like a miracle. Of course it goes up in a city or when you slam the gas pedal a bit more, but thats completely normal. If its really able to hold it about 12 L per 100km I think its a really great value for such a car.

But then again, you have to think about the car, is it even right for you? It has plenty of HP and the power goes on the rear wheels, can you control that? Its pretty easy to run into problems when you "give gas" in a curve, these rear powered cars tend to spin if you dont know what you are doing.
Interesting point re: consumption. The main reason I mentioned the 350Z's consumption is because it's so much worse than that of the Z4, TT or SLK. Could amount to a significant amount of expenditure year by year, thus offsetting against the saving I would make by paying less to purchase it.

Also interesting about rear wheel drives - I've only ever driven shitty little cars. I'm an alright driver but not a great one. There's only one way to find out whether I can handle it - guess I'll just have to go for a few test drives!
