Many members join many sites. No one is going to go to one site, join and stay there forever. I'd rather try to get some $ by showing him some other sites than not getting any $ and letting someone else get it.
Porn consumers are hungry. They want more more more more and more. What gets them off today, may not get them off tomorrow or next week.
