If you were not investing 40 hours a week of your time into it then you did not need a full-time employee and there are plenty of people that would invest 2 or 3 hours a day to make $1k a month. You don't need GFY to find someone to do that -- you only need a classified newspaper ad (back then) looking for someone that had basic computer skills and was comfortable with adult content.
And if you did drop everything to build up to a $6,000/mo. TGP only to drop it then any potential investor of yours should be cautioned that you may stop working on the new project if a shiny new acquisition comes across your desktop.

I invested at least 40 hours per week into that piece of shit. I didn't drop anything. My other business was virtually hands free thanks to the **smart** work I put into it previously. The keyword there is smart, busting my ass for $6,000 or worrying about hiring and managing an employee for that piece of shit site was not something I was interested in. I threw it away and focused on finding more easy money. I am not opposed to hard work but to do it just for the sake of it is fucking insane. 1 hour a day spent thinking about that shit would have cost me far more than I made by doing other things.
You seem to think you are better equipped at managing my life though, so please keep commenting.
