That's quite true. It's a shit box of a town. A lot of the ones along the 710 corridor are.

It was a special election and I'm not sure people truly understood what it was about.
A nearby town, Vernon, has an actual census population of 91 people, according to Wiki. It's almost entirely made up of inbound workers. Placed is filled with meat packing companies, food processing outfits, importers, wholesalers, and dollar store jobbers.
