Until god forbid one day CCBill goes out of business and ALL of your income dies at once.
Putting all of your eggs in one basket and making your entire business dependent upon one company is probably the most idiotic business decision one can make.
I'm not saying you should only use NATS programs. There are other 3rd party systems out there. There are people who run their own software. I'm simply saying you should spread your risk around. You should be promoting NATS programs, CCBill programs, MPA programs, Epoch programs, independent programs, etc.
Companies go out of business. The fantasy that programs running on CCBill never go out of business is laughable. It would be a fantastic world if every company stayed in business forever, but that's quite delusional. The % of affiliate programs disappearing is a very small % and in this economy it's not surprising to see some not make it.
It has always happened, it will always happen. Spread your risk around.
