Ok, I'll try to explain a bit, why they often look the same. Actually 99% of the Russian porn you see is shot in St. Petersburg, where rents and apartment prices are off the roof. For a slightly larger 4 room apartment in an old building in the city center you easily pay $4000 rent per month.
So guess what - normal people can only afford rooms like you see in these vids, called Komunalka (any Russian in here, please correct me if that's wrong). These are really old flats with a bunch of small rooms, one bathroom and one kitchen, usually pretty run-down, with not much changed since Soviet times. Each room can be rented seperately. Sometimes even several people share such a room (often between 15 and 20 square meters only) so it can be like 7+ people sharing one kitchen and bathroom. Most people also can't afford to change wallpapers or even the creepy old furniture.
I have been in one of these this year, and it really sucks to say the least
Oh, btw, you can also buy these small rooms, for about $20000 each (was up to $60000 a few years ago even).
So when Miguel talks about all this stuff being as real as possible, he is absolutely right. So that's why you will always see similar rooms in Russian amateur footage. It's just that a lot of people over there live in rooms like that.
