A huge steel ball bearing, 30 feet in diameter, is rolling DOWNHILL toward you, and it's moving very fast! It's also rolling towards the American people. You brace yourself to stop it, but it rolls over you.
Even though another man pushed that boulder and started it rolling down the hill, because you were unable to stop it, everybody blames YOU for it.
That's a very simple analogy of Obama getting blamed for the boulder Dubya pushed down the hill.
FYI: I voted for McCain, and have only voted non-Republican once (voted against Dubya's second term), but I don't drink the Republican cool aid of blaming Obama for problems Republicans should have prevented from ever happening.
