And on a good day, I would agree about thinking happy thoughts and doing shit about "it" so that I don't feel sad and unhappy. Except when you're depressed, it's not that easy to do. Is it possible? Perhaps, but I've never been able to manage it. Does that make me weak, or pathetic, as you say? Who knows. What is weak? What is pathetic? You said it yourself, we are nothing, sitting on a tiny floating rock. If this was the case, perhaps you wouldn't be so quick to judge and voice your opinion (an irrelevant one, since we're tiny and nothing, just sitting on a floating rock). Or maybe you're just trolling and trying to make people feel bad. Either way, I'm enjoying your posts

I am no way trying to help you feel bad or others. but im not going to feel sorry for you and say its going to be ok. because you are the one choosing that it is not ok.
it took me a longtime to figure out. the main thing is YOU CONTROL YOUR MIND. you can control your thoughts and emotions. if something bugs you you can CHOOSE not to let it bug you. it is your mind.
you dont know how powerful this advice is. it sounds like bullshit but it is 100% true. we as humans are capable of EVERYTHING. it is 100% mindset. if you tell your mind you cant do it you are not going to be able to do it.
spend everyday understanding your own thoughts. i always look within for factors and no longer for external factors.
your mind is sooooo insanely powerful that it can convince you you cant do anything before you have even tried. always remember ANYTHING is possible. and none of it comes overnight, the journey while working hard at something is alot of times just as rewarding as the final goal. it is about baby steps that add up to 1 giant leep.
learn to control your emotions and get your mind in a place of peace. you find this by being able to look internally and not being afraid to deal with real pain.
stop looking for external factors and look within yourself. look at the things that make you depressed and look at the things that make you happy. go towards those things. you can choose to do something about it THIS SECOND. that is how powerful your mind is.
